Karoui & Karoui World - Mai 22nd,  2008

The Tunisian  International Group Karoui & Karoui World has  just concluded a partnership with  two world giants  in the field of communication, audiovisual and cinematographic production: Tarek Ben Ammar’s Group Quinta  and  Mediaset Group, whose chairman is Fedele Confalonieri.

This  partnership  consists  in  opening  the  capital  of Nessma TV, a private satellite TV channel with a Maghrebian and Mediterranean  vocation and broadcasting  from Tunis, to these two groups up to 25% each. The  founders  of  Nessma  TV,  Nébil  and  Ghazi  Karoui  will maintain 50% of the TV shares within Karoui & Karoui World. 
Besides  its inancial contribution,  this partnership will allow experience and know-how sharing, encourage creative and fruitful  synergies  between  leading  audiovisual  nternational operators.

Nessma TV’s ambition  is  to serve as  the main TV channel of the greater Maghreb and aspires to becoming a privileged bridge between  the  two shores of  the Mediterranean sea. It  aims,  in  particular,  at  contributing  to  the  promotion  of Maghrebian culture, strengthening the values of openness, tolerance and modernity and enhancing dialogue between cultures and civilizations in the Mediterranean region.

Being a general entertainment channel, Nessma TV, which intends  to  reach  out  the  Maghreb  and  the  Maghrebian communities living in Europe and around the world, aims at promoting  television  creation  and  production  in  all  genres and  at  extending  its  scope  of  activity  to  Europe  and  the Middle East.
