- Acquisition of the NEDJMA account part of WATANIYA group in Algeria and TUNISIANA in Tunisia (Mobile Phone Operators).
- Birth of Karoui & Karoui International, a production company dealing in audio-visual programs (Karoui & Karoui Entertainment).
- Partnership with Endemol, world leader in television game shows and reality television programs.
- Setup of a recording studio and a central control room in Utique using international standards.
- Launch of "Akher Kalima" in Algeria, internationally known as "Split Decision", first television program with an international format acquired by the Algerian television.
