Karoui&Karoui World : Our History

 

1996

Birth of the communication agency "EKKO Publicité Lions" in Tunisia.
 
1997

Beginning of the golden age in Tunisia with the acquisition of very prestigious clients such as: TUNISAIR, SPIGA, SNCFT, YOPLAIT, SONY, etc.
 
1999

Beginning of the Moroccan conquest operating under the prestigious British brand Saatchi&Saatchi, the most creative advertising company in the world, using the business name K.N.R.G. Saatchi&Saatchi.
Thanks to their creativity and limitless passion, they manage huge budgets in the world of communication such as the industrial giant PROCTER & GAMBLE in Morocco.

2000

Communication management of MEDITEL, the number one Mobile Phone Operator in Morocco, and its first place positioning in the market.
 
2002

  • Birth of the communication branch in Algeria while setting up a strategic partnership with PROCTER & GAMBLE Algeria.
  • Management of the communication for DJEZZY, Mobile operator in Algeria for the ORASCOM group.
  • Birth of Régie 7 (Rebranded Karoui & Karoui Outdoor) in Tunisia.
  • Participation in the capital of the number one urban advertising company in morocco: AXO. 

2003

  • Birth of "Régie 7" (Rebranded Karoui & Karoui Outdoor) in Algeria.
  • Portfolio diversification in the communication sector : VIRGIN, DANONE, MEDITEL, DJEZZY, PROCTER & GAMBLE, Etc.
  • Birth of Dream Films, a production company (Karoui & Karoui Production).

 
2004

  • Acquisition of the NEDJMA account part of WATANIYA group in Algeria and TUNISIANA in Tunisia (Mobile Phone Operators).
  • Birth of Karoui & Karoui International, a production company dealing in audio-visual programs (Karoui & Karoui Entertainment).
  • Partnership with Endemol, world leader in television game shows and reality television programs.
  • Setup of a recording studio and a central control room in Utique using international standards.
  • Launch of "Akher Kalima" in Algeria, internationally known as "Split Decision", first television program with an international format acquired by the Algerian television.
  • Birth of NOOR and the setup of an SMS-IVR platform (Karoui & Karoui Interactive).
    Management of the voting process for the "Star Academy Lebanon" across the entire Maghreb region.

2005 

  • Management of the interactivity for 3 Algerian television networks.
  • First International trans-Arabic campaign for WATANIYA.
  • Birth of a music label (Karoui & Karoui Music).

 
2006

Adaptation of a new unique branded strategy: Karoui&Karoui. Since then, the group operates under the name Karoui&Karoui World.  

2007

Launch of NESSMA TV and the Star Academy Maghreb 1.
